Sara Hughes, LSCSW offers supervision to LMSW’s pursuing their clinical license in the state of Kansas. Sara graduated with her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas in 2011. She has worked in a variety of different areas of Social Work, including hospital case management, child welfare, case management for adults with SPMI and outpatient therapy. Sara has been in private practice since 2015. Sara is trained in both play therapy and EMDR. Her approach to clinical supervision is to offer a caring, supportive space for therapists to ask questions, seek case consultation and broaden their clinical lense. Similarly to her therapeutic approach, Sara looks through a holistic lense to promote and encourage therapist wellness and prevent compassion fatigue and burnout.
